UK house prices have risen for the first time in 17 months, London’s government agency the Land Registry confirmed yesterday. According to the Registry the average price of a home in England and Wales increased by 0.1 per cent in June, the first gain since January 2008, to £153,046 ($303,812). Values in London rose 2 per cent.
