I totally agree with Paul from Altitude Real Estate. I have been using Twitter since May and I love it. It is perfect for real estate and for my business. I have seen an enormous increase in traffic to our website. We have also started Tweeting from auctions and the results go immediately to the front page of our website. On property managers adapt to falling rental market (Click here for original story)

I agree wholeheartedly with the content of this report, and believe it is safe to say regional area such as Mandurah in WA have suffered from declines longer than our metro counterparts. We have been decreasing rental prices for approximately seven months now and both my colleagues and I find it frustrating [trying to] explain this to investors that have multiple properties in their portfolio in varying parts of the state and country, that different demographics are affected in differing ways [and that there are] so many facets that can alter their bottom line. I appreciate reports such as this, because I can incorporate them into the monthly newsletters to our clients... backing up what we are trying to tell them without them thinking it's “just an excuse”. About time… I recently flew from Perth to Melbourne to attend an auction after being told less than 48 hours before the auction by the Agent who we’ll call “Ray” that I would certainly buy the house at auction for $600,000. After taking the weekend off work and booking a last minute flight at great expense, a 3+ hour flight arriving at 5am Melbourne time, I waited for the auction and was disgusted to find out that the vendors reserve was $640,000 and the house sold for $665,000... Thanks “Ray”.
